There is really nothing better to do on a lazy Sunday morning than stroll along Portrush West Strand beach and go for coffee at the beautiful Babushka Cafe. Park at West Bay car park and follow the beach north towards Portrush Harbour.

Babushka cafe is perched at the beginning of the south pier and is owned by George, a Portrush local with an eye for detail. With a lot of work, passion and effort George has transformed the once “Teas & Ices” into a boutique coffee shop. Battling each winter against the savage Atlantic ocean, Babushka stands proud and majestic having survived the winter storms along with the rest of the town.

Inside, Babushka is stylish and modern. Food, including freshly baked cakes, and independently sourced coffee is served daily.

Delicious coffee in hand, continue your walk around Portrush Harbour and take a picture at the snap shot beach huts.
